This popular tea was used traditionally in China to help promote cleansing and digestion. Its traditional Chinese name comes from the green-colored herbs in the formula. Senna and whorled mallow (Malva verticillata) are herbal stimulant laxatives that were used to promote bowel movements and cleansing.
